It has been said that the sound of the bagpipe can rise a sick man from his bed!  At the very least it is guaranteed to make the hair on your neck  stand, as your shoulders pull back and the chest swells. Countryman or Scot for the day, you will be thrilled by the pipes and drums!

2007 has every indication of being a great year in piping and drumming at the Sarnia Highland Games & Celtic Festival. Our move to June 16th from our traditional August date has placed us in the position of being the first Champion Supreme Games of the Season.

If our last event in 2005 is any indication, fans can expect to more than 30 pipe bands and hundreds of pipers and drummers compete for
prizes and the all important PPBSO Champion Supreme points with the goal in mind of winning the all Ontario title.

The ever popular massed bands during opening and closing ceremonies returns this year. Prepare to be thrilled by the pomp, pageantry and spectacle of this moving portion of the days events.
