Fund Raising
Must be over 18 years of age. |
Assist with various fund raising projects throughout the course of the year as well as on festival weekend. This may include selling raffle tickets and staffing other fund raising initiatives. |
Information Booth |
Provide information, answer questions, sell programs and official souvenirs. |
Grounds Crew |
Assist with pre – event set up of park, assist with post - event tear down of park. Removal of full garbage bags during event. Staff fence line in area of pond to ensure no unauthorized persons enter. Assist where required. |
Bar – Ticket Sales and Service
Must be 19 years of age and be
Smart Serve certified. |
Sell alcohol tickets in beer tent or staff bar. Must be Ontario Smart Serve Program Certified for these positions.

Celtic Stage Assistant |
Assist the Celtic Stage coordinator in set up of the stage area, seating and operating the venue during the event. |
Entertainment Assistant |
Assist the various event coordinators in ensuring that the needs of all special guests and entertainers are met. This will include arranging for lunch to be delivered to the various venues
such as the Heavy Events, PPBSO Admin and Highland Dance Judges etc. |
Highland Dance Assistants |
Assist the Highland Dance coordinators in staging dancers, awards ceremonies etc. |
Heavy Events Assistants
Requires being physically fit. |
Assist the Athletic Director in the operation of the Heavy Events, field set and supervision to ensure the safety of the athletes and the spectators. |
Clan Coordinator |
Coordinate the attendance of clan representatives at the event and provide assistance where needed (on the day). |
Vendor Coordinator |
Coordinate and communicate with vendors leading up to and on the weekend of the event.
This includes pre event bookings and reservations. |
